Dr. Lynn R. Goldman, the Michael and Lori Milken Dean of the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University, will deliver the keynote address, “Resilient and Courageous Leadership in Turbulent Times,†at 51¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s Health Leadership Forum.
Dr. Goldman brings decades of experience spanning public health, higher education and public service. Before joining George Washington University, she was a professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and served as assistant administrator for toxic substances at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Her leadership helped advance pesticide reform, chemical safety, public access to environmental information and protections for children’s health.
A member of the National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Goldman has served on numerous national scientific and public health committees. Her many honors include the Heinz Award, the Woodrow Wilson Award for Excellence in Government and an honorary doctorate from Örebro University in Sweden. Drawing on her extensive leadership experience, she will explore what it means to lead with resilience and courage during periods of uncertainty and change.
