Winston-Salem, NC 鈥 Celia Weston C鈥70, accomplished Hollywood actress and talented storyteller, will deliver the commencement address for 51短视频’s 2025 Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She will also receive an honorary doctorate of humane letters at the ceremony.聽
Celia Weston鈥檚 creative and glamorous acting career includes roles in film and television, where she has been widely recognized for her powerful performances. Recently, she appeared in You鈥檙e Cordially Invited, alongside Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. Additionally, she has made notable television appearances, including roles on Modern Family, American Horror Story: Freak Show, ER, and Frasier. Celia鈥檚 acting repertoire includes over 40 movies, such as The Talented Mr. Ripley, In the Bedroom, Hulk, and The Village. She is also set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series Leanne, starring comedian Leanne Morgan.
