Our Science teacher, Mr Holmes, ran our annual Spring in a Frame Photography Competition this year and we were amazed to receive over one hundred fantastic spring images from students who had been out and about in nature over the Easter break.

We held an Exhibition and Prize Giving event in May and guests were able to vote for their favourite photograph to win the People's Choice Award. We had a record turnout on the night, thank you to everyone who joined us. The event raised £34 for The Georgia Leigh Ogden Foundation through sales of refreshments.

Congratulations to our winners:

  • Judges' winner: Freddie L Year 7 (swan) - Polaroid camera, a £20 Curry's voucher and a phone macro lens
  • People's Choice Award winner: Jess D Year 9 (lamb) - a £180 Portrait Session, donated by Ollier Photography
  • Judges' runner up: Molly B Year 7 (daffodils)- £20 Curry's voucher, a disposable camera and a phone macro lens.
  • People's Choice Award runner up: Eleanor S Year 7 (frogs) - £20 Curry's voucher, a disposable camera and a phone macro lens.

Thank you to our Catering Manager, Mr Wilcock, for donating the Polaroid and Disposable cameras and the Curry's vouchers.
